MY INSURANCE COMPANY WILL DROP ME IF I HIRE A PUBLIC ADJUSTER.
The truth of the matter is that public adjusters are licensed by the State to work for the public. As the state acknowledges our industry as an advocate for the general public they have also placed rules and regulations to protect you and the public insurance adjusting industry. Your insurance company is unable to take any negative actions against you when you utilize the services of a public adjuster.
MY INSURANCE COMPANY WILL TREAT ME DIFFERENTLY BECAUSE THIS IS MY FIRST TIME FILING A CLAIM.
Many property owners filing their first insurance claim are under the impression that the insurance company will treat them differently because they've never filed a claim before. Whether or not you've filed one claim or six claims, your insurance company will treat a loss no differently.
ALL PUBLIC ADJUSTERS ARE THE SAME. I DON'T NEED TO RESEARCH THE COMPANIES BEFORE I MAKE MY SELECTION.
Always know who you're hiring to work for you! With insurance claims, not only do you need to be aware of what you will owe your public adjuster in the end but when you hire a public adjuster that may be unable to handle your loss, you are jeopardizing your settlement amount.
BROKEN PIPES ARE NOT COVERED.
This statement is true IN PART. A broken pipe is not covered by your insurance policy, however, all of the ensuing damage is. Any water extraction, the repair of tiles or other flooring, cabinetry, paint, mold rememdiation, etc. is all covered by your policy
